Who We Are:
We are an elite youth travel baseball program. The key word in the previous sentence is "Program". We are a "program" from top to bottom. We have sets of goals for the organization as a whole, each team and each player. An example of an organizational goal would be to have all of our teams competing in tournaments at an elite level. Player goals would include developing individual skills and, maybe someday playing college or even professional baseball. What we are not, is a single team put together by a couple of fathers and going out and playing AAU type tournaments. Our winter training is second to none. Each player will not only have over 31 hours of indoor winter team training, but will also have 6 hours of individual one on one lessons with C-Side's training staff.
Our indoor training is held at Chris Sidick’s C-Side Sports Training Facility located in North Strabane Township. C-Side is a 27,000 sq ft Baseball Taining Facility located in Canonsburg, PA. This facility is the most state of the art facility in the area.
What We Teach:
The practice program is designed to start with basic mechanics and through repetitive drills, build on the foundation each week. Practices are designed to be energetic and fast paced. We work
from the ground up with all of our teams no matter what age group. . We will start with the most basic of skills to ensure that the
players are executing them correctly. This includes simple throwing mechanics,
the mechanics of the baseball swing, defensive play, pitching and others.
Goals:
As stated above, the main goal of our program is for each player to develop advanced baseball skills. We hope that each participant grows as a baseball player and as a person.
Lastly we hope that the boys develop friendships and have experiences that they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Where we go:
We are one of only two programs in the area that send teams to both Cal Ripkens facility in Aberdeen, Marlayland and our 12U Teams go to Cooperstown Dreams Parks. We will also send teams to Sports at the Beach in Rehoboth, Delaware. Most of the other tournaments the we attend are typically no more than a 3 hour drive from Pittsburgh.
